Stonefruit question
So, one of my work colleagues has made plum sauce. They left the stones in while cooking - is this likely to be ahealth issue? I know that there is stuff that breaks down to cyanide in the stones, but not sure if its at dangerous levels, or how it is released.

This show is my new favorite SF show.

Anyone know anything about polished wood floors? My kitchen seems to have been munted, and I have no idea whether I can just have it repolished, or if I'll need to strip it back to wood or how much it's all likely to cost.

Leatherworking happened. Got a bunch of people started on projects. Actually feel like doing some leatherworking myself, which is a huge plus.

Plan for the weekend - BBQ, cut out new tick. Armor repair/restoration.

Has appointment with specialist.

Just had the soles on another pair of Doc's go. Bought replacements. Have to break them in.

It's funny, Doc's are one of the few things I spend money on in terms of clothes - there are cheaper boots out there, but they last me well, and are part of my uniform.

Ball went well. Received AoA scroll. PRETTY!

Drinkies
I'm having a drinkies. My place, after work on friday next week (the 6th). Not planning on being terribly late or anything.

Finished my Gokstad bed. Well, the frame.

May tidy it up - it's abit rough in places, but not bad for a first attempt, and should be able to sleep on it at november crown.

I used slightly under 1" fence palings for the slats, and I'm worried they have alittle too much flex. I'll have to see.

Status report
Gokstad bed 80% done. Just need to tidy up the slat heles on one side and do the peg hoels and pegs.
